Introduction

Takedown Rights Group, LLC. ("we", "our", or "us"), located at 1847 Sunset Crest Ave, Suite 204, operates takedown.claims. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your rights regarding that information.

By using this website, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy.

Information We Collect

We may collect information you provide directly, such as:

  • Your name and contact information when you reach out to us
  • Details about the content or rights you are seeking to enforce
  • Any documentation you share in connection with a claim

We may also collect limited technical data automatically — including your IP address, browser type, and pages visited — solely for site security and general usage patterns.

How We Use Your Information

Information you provide is used exclusively to:

  • Evaluate and process DMCA enforcement requests
  • Communicate with you about the status of your claim
  • Comply with legal obligations

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties for marketing purposes.

Data Retention

We retain personal information only for as long as necessary to fulfil the purpose for which it was collected, or as required by applicable law. Information related to active claims is kept for the duration of the enforcement process and for a reasonable period thereafter.

Third-Party Services

In the course of filing takedown notices, we may share relevant identifying information (such as your name and contact details as the rights holder) with the platform or distributor in question, as required by law. We will not disclose more than is necessary for this purpose.

When we submit takedown or copyright-report requests on your behalf, we transmit the information necessary to process those requests directly to the relevant service provider — including Apple Music, Deezer, and SoundCloud — through their respective reporting channels and APIs. Each provider processes that information under its own privacy policy.

This website and its staff tools are hosted on Cloudflare Pages, and operational records (such as submission history and processing logs) may be stored using Cloudflare services, including Cloudflare D1. Cloudflare may process limited technical data in accordance with its own privacy policy. We do not store payment card numbers, government identifiers, or passwords in these records.

Cookies

This website does not use tracking cookies, advertising cookies, or third-party analytics. Our staff portal stores short-lived authentication tokens in your browser's session storage solely to keep you signed in during a session; these are cleared when you sign out or close the tab. Some staff tools also store operational data (such as generated codes and local copies of submission records) in your browser's local storage for functionality.

Your Rights

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to:

  • Request access to the personal data we hold about you
  • Request correction of inaccurate information
  • Request deletion of your data
  • Object to or restrict certain processing

To exercise any of these rights, please contact us using the details below.

Security

We take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your information against unauthorised access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction. No method of transmission over the internet is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date. We encourage you to review this policy periodically.
